Dunlop Elite III

I ran the Dunlop Elite III, it's a little wider than the Metzler and Avon I had to slightly spread the front fender to keep it from rubbing. I liked the ride and didn't notice any handling problems but after 10000 miles it was worn out. Both Metzler and Avon lasted 12,500 miles.
I've gone back to the Avon now.

Wow, I barely got 5000 on the metz! About 6000 on the Avon, the Avon probably had another 1000, but I was going on a 1500 mile trip, I changed it a bit early. I liked the Avon, too, probably go back to it.

We're talking about front tires; sounds like you may be talking about the rear.
