Dumbass Question.

Hi,

the TuneECU site is back online.

Sorry for any inconvenience but the page was last night transferred to another server.
Now everything should work again as usual.

BR, Tom

Funny you know, when I sit on about 240KPH i only get about 120K's.....

Hey cobba, a group of mates and I are heading up to VIcNSW boarder through Vic high country and looping around back to Melb. If you or any other Rocket fellas want to link up let me know. Will be up there around Sat 26 Nov

Hmmm......wonder who that could be ? I know of a guy with a "Black" "Touring". ALL other Rockets look red to him because all he see's is tail lights

How many miles are on this bike ? Mine had about 28 thousand miles when it started idling really slow. Seems there is some linkage between the idle stop screw and the primary throttle plates. After a while it wears and allows the plates to go all the way closed. I had to go in more than three turns before the plates started to open. They need to be open just a little. Keep track of how many turns you go, that way you can always put it back. You can download a service manual for free on this site just can't remember where. Someone will tell you.

Guess I should have finished reading the whole thread before I opened my yap ! Glad to hear you got it sorted. Now it must be punished !

Thanks Tom.
I did manage to get back into the site yesterday arvo so had the feeling it was a technical issue.
Glad to here you have got it sorted out.

Congrats to you and Alian on what you have built. I'm sure a lot of ppeople have made good use of it already.

Got a laugh out of your last comment. You're not the only one that does that kinda stuff.

Bikes only got 20,000Ks on it (12,000 miles) so hasn't done Jack****e work yet, but as you said, it's all sorted and running great now.

Thanks to all.

Gday Ponters. Calander looks clear for that weekend so far. Will keep in touch.
If you're coming in via Omeo then I'll most likely ride up to there or even Bruthen to meet you. Pretty boring going from here back to Melbourne but the otherside is a great bit of road.

What bikes are your mates riding.
I find Triumphs tend to be racist with other breeds and need to be out in front of them all the time.
The side effects of that are a deterioration in quality of licence, which I can't afford right now either.

Let me know your plans when you've got em all worked out.

Cheers. Cobba.
