Engine Bars

You may want to look at the Rivco engine bars. They're very strong but, a little smaller and don't stick out as much. They look much more contour to the bike. I'm currently using them but am thinking about going with the wider factory look just because I like the fat look. If you haven't seen the Rivco's let me know and I'll send you a photo. If you like them we may be able to work out a trade.

greetings all, neewbe to the board and triumph family! 08 r111 custom.
i am getting ready to install the dresser bars on the beast and am concerned about taking the long frame bolt out that secure the tops of both bars. What kind of support is needed to hold the engine up? does it come out easy? has anyone had probelms getting it back in once it is removed? thanks for any advice!

I'm confused

I thought Dresser Bars were where you got all "Gussied Up" and went to drink.

I do know that the only thing that makes me look fat is all my fat. (minus 30 pounds since ES) I get another hundred to disappear and I'm headed to some retirement village as a recycled Chip & Dale dancer.

Dave....

You were look'in pretty svelte at ES. You are gonna be a twig pretty soon.:D

Does anyone know the diameter of the dresser bars ? I've got a set on backorder, and plan to fit some existing Kuryakyn pegs, but the dresser clamp is from the Vulcan 2000, which was 1.35 inches, so I doubt it will fit.

Pete.
