In Australia the cops will just take your picture and come visit you at home. Then they'll take your bike and crush it.

Oh and for traffic infringements out here, you're guilty unless you can prove your innocence against cops who will lie in court under oath.

But apparently we're not a police state. Go figure.

Recently @Pete took a couple of or bikes for a spin while we were stopped at a pub. When he road my 230hp bike his silly grin was unmistakably bigger and he stated that he wanted his bike to have the same drugs as mine has lol.

Unfortunately those things can happen here too. Some years ago I was driving in Texas with my family, in the middle of a group of cars, doing 65 in a 60 zone. A cop going the other way turned around and and picked the only vehicle with out of state tags, me, and booked me for 70, which had a much higher fine and more points. What do you think would have happened if I turned up to fight it in court in the little town and found out that the judge was his cousin or something?

Tis always best to challenge a citation in court - whether you are guilty or not.
