Could strip 100lbs if you peeled all the stickers off it.

Bull. That engine will be toast at less than 50,000 miles. The bike is nice do not get me wrong but the write up makes it sound as if the bike really is reliable. Any body who has spent any time at all working on Harleys knows that set up is not for every day riding. The T-143 SS engine is very high performance but also very short lived. Very limited warranty on that motor from SS. I am talking from experience not hearsay.

Uber cool SM sticker have to stay though .. Speed Merchants are right into new factory Baggers, not :cool:

The front end of that motorcycle is hideous. Every time I see one of those bikes I think the same thing.

That's not a batwing on that bike, it's a road glide lol.

The boss of maintenance at my work has a street glide CVO with that engine. The bike cost him 36k out the door 2 years ago, and another 11k for that engine along with extra parts/tuning. He has almost 50k in his bike. It runs like a raped ape as expected. I don't think there will be that bad of reliability out of the motor, it's built pretty stout.

I don't care much for Harley (living in milwaukee and not owning one should be enough proof) but for the style bike they produce nobody is at their level. Take the street glide for example, show me one other company that produces a bike that looks as good as it does, has factory hard boxes, has more power then it etc. The competition makes bikes that compete but not fully. The volquero doesn't look right, the victory vison was made by a blind man who wished he had vision. Cross country doesn't look right.. Really the only bike that got the old school bike look right besides Harley is indian, and they look **** fine/are very popular here in milwaukee.

Harley doesn't make a muscle bike that I can fit on (6'6' 270) which is why I don't own a harley. If Harley made the r3 I would own a harley. Of course it would cost 50k stock.... Next year I might buy a street glide to go with my r3, they put down good power now with the stock engine, have storage, look good, and it would be nice to have a fairing/radio.

50k! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

For a bike that looks and sounds like nearly every other bike on the road and only offers a few more horses than my stock Rocket I paid 16k for?

P.T Barnum was right, there is one born every minute........
