Could strip 100lbs if you peeled all the stickers off it.

The only crate motor made by S&S that is Reliable and has a decent warranty is the T-111. The T-124 and T-143 do not really have much of a warranty at all due to the fact that they are both very high performance engines. I have owned a T-124 crate motor. it lasted 30,000 miles and went south. Yes it was very quick and a lot of fun but it did not last long. So when I say that am talking from experience and not hearsay maybe you will understand. I am not bashing S/S motors at all you play you also must pay the price. It is a trade off.

Ive got a S&S 111 in my HD, it is the best one they do as far as I'm concerned. Being a square motor it will out last any off the 124 and bigger engines with longer stroke.

Bull. That engine will be toast at less than 50,000 miles. The bike is nice do not get me wrong but the write up makes it sound as if the bike really is reliable. Any body who has spent any time at all working on Harleys knows that set up is not for every day riding. The T-143 SS engine is very high performance but also very short lived. Very limited warranty on that motor from SS. I am talking from experience not hearsay.

ThANKS FOR THE POOP!

S&S's own website calls it right out: "This is an ultra performance/ race engine. Longevity, engine noise, vibration and throttle sensitivity have all been compromised to reach this level of performance ... "
Even they admit that it's essentially a "performance at all costs" engine. Short lived & crazy.
