Coolant and overheating issues with 2014 Rocket 3

You will be better to use bleed bolt, 10mm, loosen bolt, start bike, remove rad top, it will heat up just let it run, when fan comes on you will notice drop in radiator, full overflow, it will come out bleed bolt when full, just keep adding in radiator, its messy but it works, once its coming out bleed bolt tighten it up and put cap on. You were right it is messy. Took it for a 15 min ride and all was fine but as I parked in the garage it heated up to light activation point. Shutdown and cooldown and checked all connections. Found bypass hose lower clamp not secure so fixed that. Bleed system again. This time I modified a car bleed funnel to suit and ran bike 12mins and noticed air bubbling out then stopped temp remained stable about 90 - 95 C . Have shutdown and letting cooldown will run again to ensure entrapped air gone. Hope this solves the issue.
