Clutch gone after 2 months......

Thanks brother. I have spun up a decent fishtail down the road before blowing away 2 Gixxers to their shock who at the next lights asked "What the **** is that?!" but first time trying to "warm" the tyres for a straight run. I wanted to drag strip her at some stage soon and see how she'd go so wanted to make sure I had that part down pat. Obviously I didn't.

Good idea about the loan bike.

Ha Ha... I should but they don't have one in my local dealership. I could always go ask for a Harley.

Latest update for anyone interested is that Triumph Sydney now have the broken parts, have asked for more photos and have been asked to ship the parts to Head Office in the UK to be looked at by the engineers. While I will be without the bike for a while, the fact that the design and engineering team in the UK are on it gives me good confidence and impressed by that service.

What are the broken parts? Pictures you say, im gonna reread make sure i didnt miss but im 1 that’s interested

Hopefully its a one off...just sorry its your bike cobber...but there have been a few guys doing fast starts since these bikes have hit the floor...what about the Guy who did all those runs on the drag strip and set that 2.37 sec mark...he would have cranked it fairly hard and had no problems with the clutch which by the way impressed the hell out of him as i recall...we will all be watching to see what actually failed.

The whole clutch system needs to be replaced. Some interesting pics. Parts and pics now on way to HQ in UK from Australia. As mentioned, happy with that service that their engineers there want to look at and analyse the results of my work. Means they're pretty serious I reckon but no Rocket for me for a while.

I've seen somewhat official claims of 2.73 (Ricky Gadson) which I don't doubt as she's a relatively easy beast to launch but you definitely from my experience need TC off. You can launch pretty quick with it with care but without it, it won't bog you down if you go to hard. When I raced the two litre gixxers and blew them away, it went like a bat out of hell .... only small wheel spin and fish tail and was gone before they knew what hit them. I'd definitely beat myself on my 2013 S1000RR but my old 2012 Diavel Carbon would probably just take it. But then it wasn't stock whereas my Rocket is. It should be able to launch hard and fast all day .... they're promoting it as such a bike. Can't wait to get it back.
Rickey Gadson And The Triumph Rocket 3 R
I am honestly surprised he did not get it into the 9s. It feels like a 9s bike but what do I know?!
