The TuneECU is great for getting a map that works with differant set ups but you have to remember it was dyno on another bike that created that map. So to get the best out of it you would need to take it to a dyno to fine tune all those fuel tables which are estabilshed by the dyno guy reading the AFR's you bike is putting out then by adjusting the fuel tables he would bring the readout AFR's in line with ideal AFR's in the map.
now the thing I noiticed after studying heap of different Maps I found that the one thing most tunes had was a similar AFR table that it was tuned to and as the PCV +AT follows a set of AFR's in the DynoJet (makers of the PCV) map used in the PCV +AT unfortunitly I found that Dynojet map were very basic and lacked the charaistics I wanted so I used the AFRS out of a reputable tuner (Wayne Tripp) Tunes and created a map which a few guys are using and enjoying with out the AT you would need to take your bike fitted with a PCV to a dynotuner to set up the map while having the AT is constantly adjusting the fuel tables to give optimun performance and has the bike running to those ideal AFR's All the Time a bit like riding with a dynoguy working while you ride, my bike nolonger runs sooty black pipes but a nice deep grey around town lightening up a little cruiseing, can't ask for better than that

It seems to be a much, much nicer map than the one PC provided. Seems to be a little more peppy. Should also give better fuel mileage as PC's seems more rich across the board than the one you developed.

I bought them from NCY at a fraction of the local cost here NCY $7.50 aplug compared to $20 a plug here mind you that was Iridium plugs your local auto shop should be able to order them in for you

Not iridium but I got mine in hand at Carquest. I was at NAPA first with no luck but the guy recommened Carquest for NGK plugs.


Yeah I need a dyno in my shop lol

Mully, hate to see you having problems. Without being able to put my hands on it, it's hard to advise. I'm running Bruces tune (about 15 hours dyno time,lol) and my bike is just ridiculously fast and runs great. He was able to get me ujp to 160+ torque and 156 RWHP. I do have the Jardines full system for the Roadster. Make sure yuou get the right heat number on the plugs. Ithink the Roadster is 7.
If it was me, Ild change the plugs and get your bike to a dyno. If you can't find somjeone to pull your tune and modify it if need be with tuneboy or tune ecu, you could get a PCV for it with auto tune. They make it nowd for the Roadster. Any ddynojet dyno shop(they're everywhere) can use the PCV.
Don't think of trying to go back to stock, just get it right.

Bruce is a great tuner and has everyone here running great. It's hard to just send a tune to someone cause everybike is different. The last thing he would want to do to someones bike is set it up too lean. Any tune you get wdithoutr paying the price of dyno time is just to get you started. Better to start off rich and bring it in than to burn it up running lean.

UPDATE: It was the plugs!

I got the new plugs in and it is a totally different bike...runs smooth...think goodness! I installed the stock tune for the TORS in which I noticed the L tables are the same but the other tables are different than the tune I was running. The bike runs so much better all the way through the gears and the idle stays consistent ....the idle has been erratic for a long while.

I will get to everyone's comments a little later....I'm tired...thanks guys!

I've been using one of Bruces tune but its to rich.
I bought the exact plugs that was in it. Yes the plugs are 7. The PCV+AT is definitely on the wish list.

9500 miles

After reading up on the PCV I'm interested!
 

Save up the money and do the dyno. Its worth it.
