Cat replacement

Before I got my R3 I was aware of the issue surrounding the weight and heat retention properties of the cat box in the exhaust so I am considering replacement. I have seen this on fleabay:-

Its cheaper than the genuine Triumph item!

Any views or experiences of this particular make?....especially on the claim that a re-map is not required. Also, do the insurance companies get excited by this and shove up premiums?

Know several with that part , and works and fits great .

Should not affect your premium , I myself would not even mention it

Several people on the UK owners site rate this part.

The seller is a Rocket owner too, I believe.

I fitted the bypass a while ago i also have the Maddog pipes, on dec it was like a bren gun going off, decided to go with tuneboy still not perfect but a lot better.
