Tune Boy is the only manufacturer that makes the high rpm maps so if you want the 9k rev then yes. anything else you would only need to have a power commander for wither boost control or if your going to stay with the OEM injectors and need to override the Pulse width ratio of the injectors which is set in the ECU and not accessible. The PCV is a signal interceptor so it can give you more then 80% of the injector.

You need either TuneBoy OR TuneEcu. Both will modify the map in the ECU. With either you really don't need a Power Commander. I'm only running a Power Commander for the boost sensor that wires to the analog input. Some tuners may not be very familiar with TuneBoy or TuneEcu and might prefer to add and cut fuel with the Power Commander.

TuneBoy is free and nice to have for looking into the ECU for more than just remapping the fuel. You just need to purchase the $20 cable.

Did some reading on each, and all sound good.

But what I want to know is in terms of bang for buck, and ease of installation (I'd love to take it to Carpenter but that wouldn't be possible due to the distance, gladly I have the know how to do it).

I really kind of want a do it all with the bike. Bags and windshield that can be put on for long distance, but also take them off and have fun and power around town.

If I want to play with other bikes/cars are those extra revs from the carpenter going to be best, or is the constant power of the supercharger a better choice?

And does the turbo give any advantage over either?

Sorry if this has been discussed before. Also the bike in interested in is the Roadster

If your looking to save money and keep the 7k rev limit there are several new engine packages available other than the advertised 210 to 265 engine packages they have 7k max rev packages for the Roadsters cost will be down also You want a drive in drive out install dyno tuned or just parts package either way it will save keeping it in the US
