Would be interested to hear from anybody who has one of these modifications. Pro's and con's? Any negative issues? Thank you

I'm loving my 240 kit, I never do anything half way, hoping to add a turbo some day.

You do have to learn to use the gears like a normal bike, you do give up low end torque.

I dunno, that bottom end ability is so handy...when a Harley pulls up next to me at a light and we exchange pleasantries, and I disappear in a flash....that's torque!

YOU will have more trq than you can use you cant use full throttle leaving a light so there arent any bikes beating you from a stop light I know I have a 240+ package.

Part of this party trick is the element of surprise....they aren't ready for me to peel away and they can't summon enough ooomph to catch up until I am in fifth gear and a half mile away. I may not have all that these engines can offer, but I have enough to be a nuisance! I don't reckon to outdo a Hayabusa or any such thing. Rocket 3's are like the Rolls Royces of the old days. They had enough to power to gather up their skirts and go...no it wasn't faster than a race car but it was "sufficient" And it was all torque.

The 240 CARPENTER engines have made 198 lb ft of trq and you will beat up on a HAYABUSA I have fun beating all my sport bike buddies

Under 2000 rpm, maybe up to 2500 or so, there is definitely less torque than stock. Not that it's weak, but it's easy to stall out if you accidentally start in a higher gear, where stock it wouldn't. It's just the way torque and horsepower work.

forget embarrassing harleys, get teh 240 or 265 and start embarrassing hayabusas...and not just off the line :D

Riding in fifth gear at 50mph and then just a twist of the wrist.
That is what a Rocket is about to some people.
You won´t get that stock power down there with a 240hp Rocket.
My experience is, that up to 180 or 190hp you can compensate low end loss with higher compression and better ignition timing.
But starting from a stop light in first gear you will always have more power than you need.

I have a stock 09 Classic and a 2012 modded Roadster and the stock bike is fun for cruising with plenty of HP for the job BUT the modded ROADSTER is all that plus a superexciting azz kicker thats a blast and great for embarrassing all the street racers and squids with the sportbikes
