cant find the rattle

Hi everyone after a bit of advice, when decelerating from high revs there is a metallic rattle like a loose bolt and washer But i cant find anything loose.any advise appreciated

Maybe a loose baffle in one of the mufflers,,give them a bit of a tap(gently) on the lower side with a rubber mallet, at least that will show up or eliminate one potential cause.

Thinking but hoping it's not the cam chain .. how many k's has the bike got on it ? Mine went at 96,000.

Mine had a rattle at around 3200 rpm. Was either the tach or the speedo, can't remember now. Put some foam rubber in it. Been good since.

Rattles are all sorts of fun trying to find. The grill on the radiator is another possible culprit. I find that earplugs get rid of all the rattles though.

i finally found where a rattle was coming from, it was the screen on the radiator in the bottom where it was metal rubbing on metal, so i laid a strip of rubber in there

Yep mine rattled up until the point i found two missing bolts

Well actually adhesive backed vinyl sound deadening material. That's a lot of typing, now I gotta take a nap
