Hi Folks. I was cleaning the bike today, and noticed a little thread of something hanging down. Thinking it was a bit of debris, I pulled gently and this came out. It has an arrow shaped part on it. I've ringed in red the area I pulled it from.

Thanks. I guess it could be something that got left in there when it was assembled? Funny arrow part on it made me wonder if it was some sort of rubber seal.

It went in for its first MOT test today and passed, even with the loud exhaust. They tightened up the decibel laws in the UK this year.
The bike had the annual service last week and the dealer wouldn't pass it for the MOT because of the loud exhaust, so I took it to a specialist today who did!
@Jag. It was wet here today and the country lanes where I live were covered in water and debris, so she had a good clean up.

Mine is due for the MoT in a few weeks. I too am lucky enough to have a friendly tester that doesn't give a flying whatsit about loud pipes. He just says tell em you changed the pipes when you got home!!

They are trying to bring in legislation that if any non oem parts fitted then instant fail. Even goes for indicators and mirrors. Let's hope it never happens.

Immigrate to America and enjoy all our freedoms before all the pu$$ies turn us into a socialist nation! It’s not hard to get in, fly to Mexico, cross the border, claim asylum, get locked up for a week, then they let you go as long as you promise to come back for a hearing! Then run for Congress and bam your an American! Lol hahahahaha!
