I agree, it's got to be an ABS problem. Even if you somehow had water in your brake line, I don't think the caliper would have corroded so quickly that it stuck, especially while riding.
SucH a young bike feeling rumatism, that's no good. Must be the antibiotics they keep putting in the chickens. OK, all silliness aside, i am glad you brought it to a stop without crashing and hope it is a simple fix. Very curious as to what the issue is too.
Well she finally left me stranded
Was on my way home from a call in at work, suddenly it felt like I was riding through quick sand, I thought it was a flat at first but both tires are fine, maybe my brakes locked up?
Anyway sitting here on the worst corner possible awaiting a tow truck
I suppose you can't rule out the ABS but could someone please explain how an ABS malfunction could cause the brake to lock on. Frankly I can't see how it could cause that but open to suggestions. I'd be more inclined to suspect a sticking piston could have left pads pressing against the disc, leading to excessive heat and expansion.
