I've just had the stepper motor and TPS replaced under warranty , bikes booked into Team Moto in the morning. Went for short ride this arvo and did the ignition/key wiggling and gave the wiring a wiggle around too but it didnt make any difference. Thanks all for your assistance.

Im having dramas with my clutch sensor at the moment every now and then i turn the key and all the instruments do the normal sweep bike in nuetral and kill switch is not activated as i dont use it but when i press the start button absolutly nothing then i let the clutch out slightly and rock the bike back and forth and it usually starts.
i rang the dealer today and they just said sounds like the clutch sensor has some dirt on it or somthing so if it happens again just do what im doing ?
hope thats all it is but it seems strange that i had the gear actuator replaced a few weeks bake then it went in again because the clutch rod snaped inside the bike (from cable to clutch) and now im having this problem hmmm
c how it all pans out

I found Chris from warranty claims at Triumph Aust really helpful. I have his direct phone number, if you need it just let me know mate.

Problems turned out to be 4 of the plastic caps that hold the high tension leads in had split/broken. And a tank of dirty fuel as i suspected. $52 repair and bikes powering again.

Cant be 100% sure but i reckon it was at the Shell servo on the Gateway heading south outbound. Was with 2 other bikes and we all filled up, one of the other blokes been having drama with his bike as well.

I stopped using that servo ages ago 'cos they were so busy and slow to pay on the way home in peak hour.

Haven't had dirty fuel for a while now, fingers crossed...
