bike to bike communication

The new version, the G4, is full stereo Bluetooth (A2DP I think they call it). The G4 will still talk with the older Q2 as well.

I'm considering getting myself a G4 so that I can add my daughter to the conversation.

has anyone tried out the one by whistler. it looks to be similar to the g4 just a fair amount cheaper.

as for adding a third rider. heard that it is fine, but going past that in rider numbers you start to have issues. of course with it all being blue tooth and all, you could always doa conference call on the cell phone if needed.

That one sounds perfect ... I'm wondering what "perfect" costs. LOL
Seriously, let us know if and where you find one, I'd like to check out the details.

one of the local dealers has a set that is already synced for abou 450.
been seeing thm online anywhere from 200 to 300 a piece.
was wonering about the whistler since it is about the same unit, different package for about 160. the cheaper whistler has less of a range and goes for about 130. now these are numbers I am trying to remember so they are most likely off. just started the day and have not had enough coffee to get the brain firing. not to mention had to drive the truck since it is raining. so not awake from the ride in. nothing wakes you better than coffee than a ride on a rocket.

Funny, it's just about never occurred to me to get gear to have a conversation while riding. That's part of the beauty, IMHO, of the ride. Conversation is difficult, so shut up and enjoy it?

I use my blackberry for both music and gps via bluetooth with my nolan helmet and other stereo and mono bluetooth sets with no complaints
