Got a set of plugs in the Triumph boxes came with the update kit but seen as plugs where only a few months in the bike I didn't bother with the new ones.
I went for plugs today for my 09 touring and cycle world had 3 ngk dpr7ea-9 and 3 dpr8ea9,since i haven't seen a definitive recommended heat range am thinking about installing one of each in every cylinder, best of both worlds or big mistake?

a spark is a spark, as long as the gap is correct. The difference is the heat range so unless you are running some serious performance, it won't matter. Service is well under the life of both and the working heat index just means a stronger spark at a higher compression/tune. If you are stock, its NOT going to matter. BOTH are within spec.
WHAT DOES matter is the coils. I suggest you upgrade to the overhead coil packs MOD.
