An update ,while they were putting the trans back together they noticed unusually heavy wear on the 4th gear output shaft and related parts,Triumph said they would cover it under warranty,but it will be another week until it is finished.
I hardley ever use forth gear and the bike has only 6500 or miles on it,i am a little worried now,is the trans going to be an on going problem?

Very interesting. What kind of oil do you use and how often do you change it? Are you a "Hard shifter" as in using a lot of force or a normal shifter?
