Been away on tour, rocket wont start?? Any tips?

try bumping the engine over in 2nd or 3rd gear,

then try a bump start (I'd advide getting a "few" friends over for that though.

if it's not the battery, a jump may be enough to get things moving again

If you try all that to no avail.........Give the starter motor a sharp tap, the solenoid might be stuck.
Its the starter relay that's under the side cover.
The solenoid is part of the starter. (Sorry Michael  )

gave it all a good twat with a rubber hammer, still nowt, it still makes the click to start the just the dull whine, all lights go on then off as usual on the speedo, the orange engine light goes off too like it should.

Might have to get a coule of heavies around to help me bump start it and see if that helps??

Any more remedies from the crew?

Rather than a rubber hammer, give the starter a couple of sharp cracks with a proper hammer, a ruber one would have much affect if the solenoid/starter is stuck.
Still think your battery has something to do with this.
Try jumping it from a car battery, your other bike battery might not have enough cold cranking amps for the Rocket.
Where do you live mate, maybe there is someone close to you that can nip round and have a look.

I do have the factory fitted alarm, the immobilizer should be cut out though as it does the usual beep on turning the key plus the lights light up and then go out, leaving the green on as usual.
