Service Manuals and helpful tips - Download Link

This is a link from user IDK. I messaged him to ask if he was happy with me doing this, but he hasn't posted on the site since 2022 (hope he's OK, I don't know him). If anybody sees anything wrong with this, or thinks I'm doing something wrong or against his wishes, let me know and I'll take it down. The link contains loads of useful stuff, including manuals, and IDK originally had it in his signature.

I tried to upload a copy of the manual as a pdf resource but it's too large.

Hi, new in the forum and actually I registered because...
1) Short story: To see the owners manuals and ask if would you like to have a full linked / bookmarked version.
2) Long story: I'm thinking in buy a Rocket 3 and I falled in the dark hole of investigating everything, so I have a couple of months entering in this forum. After find the workshop manuals I though it would be nice to have a fully linked version (I did it for my T120 Bonnie).

Why is my proposal? Because I'm a bloody obsessed man LOL. If your feedback is positive I can even make a full new version. So please let me know if you like to advance on this task.
Cheers,
Luis

Ladies & Gents,

I ended up making a full new version of the Service Manual (Rocket 3 GT). Feel free to save your copy (Size: 48 mb). Download Link: here.
Please send me a PM in case of trouble downloading. I hope you find this work useful.

Some notes (for those from the Dark Side who wants to know everything):
  1. The goal was to make a PDF optimized for screen navigation. This edition is 801 pages long, although I prefer to think every page as a section or sub section, because many pages -if you try to print them- are actually longer than one A4 or Letter sheet. Anyway you can print a particular section and you'll get most of that info in a proper format (remember to configure page before send to the printer).
  2. Tested in Acrobat and Mac OS Preview. Other PDF viewers can result in a different experience. If you can't see the bookmark panel you must activate the view. I can't find the navigation view available like older Acrobat versions, but there are key shortcuts for previous and next view (MAC OS: Command+Left or Command+Right).
  3. There's no broken images or tables. Some specific sections were splitted and edited to get the full information available (Like Main Selection Bearing Chart in Crankcase, Crankshaft and Connecting Rods).
  4. All bookmarks were tested, are all ok and working.
  5. All internal links (blue characters) tested, some edited / corrected. At least 98% are correct. If there's any mistake, refer to the bookmarks list. I tried to link the heading (Home / Main Section / Section) but it was a lot of work for something that you can do with the bookmarks.
  6. This was based on 2020 and 2023 MY manuals. There are at least 2 added sections in the later (eg: Coolant). I hope not to loose any additional modification.
  7. This manual was made fully by hand: from pages saving and page cropping to bookmarks and links additions, so:
    1. Some pages may differ in size or scale from others, but you'll get over it.
    2. Could be some room for improvement (or better said, maybe some errors escaped from my testing).
    3. Check carefully that you are reading the chosen section.
    4. Please forgive in advance any error in the making of this document.
Cheers,
Luis
