Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I spent a day on a V65 Magna while my buddy rode my 85 ZX900 Ninja.
The Honda was a total POS in the corners with the swing-arm and frame flexing like a bucking bronco!
The next weekend my buddy bought himself an 85 ZX900 Ninja the opposite color scheme as mine.
We sure had a lot of awesome trips on those motors!
Even tho i never owned a 900 Ninja, it had a lot to do woth me getting into motorcycling, it was the sexiest bike on the road, to my eyes anyway

It's obvious this guy has no sense of style

In their description of the Honda CB400F, they were wrong in saying the CB350F was only produced for one year. It was actually produced in '72, '73, and '74. Their description of the R3 is exactly how I feel about every Harley I've ever seen...Nothing flows, and everything looks like it was bolted on as an afterthought...

I had a V65 as well. I was not a corner burner, but in a straight line it was unbelievably fast for the time...it was not as fast as the 900 Ninja tho...

Both the BSA Rocket and Triumph Trident looked like crap the first year but by 1971 they both looked fine. A Rune pulled up next to me at a light and it looked cool.

I agree,at the time some of those bikes came out, they were great,or even ahead of their time,I always thought the magna at its time was a great looking bike. However, the author is only stating his/her opinion, means jack squat, had they polled 10000 riders of their opinion of fugly bikes, might have a baseline for the story.......kinda like listening to Art:sick:
WELL everyone has reasons for liking a certain bike and thats an opinion and some are ugly to others but thats why they make all these different bikes and you choose the ones you like and dislike so whats the big deal thats never going to change so stop whining and carry on with the discussion
