Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I don't know, if you ever see one in person you might change your tune...the build quality and fit and finish on those things is amazing! Blows away anything Harley ever made IMO...
I agree with you, the are certainly interesting, and so much different, get a lot of attention, and NEVER gets confused with any other ride. IMHO

Welded from tractor parts? How rude!

OK, well, we kind of grant the chrome tumor thing...

While we have never considered the Beast "pretty," we think it has a certain massive presence about it.

We trudge on (ascetically).

Hmmmm, ****ed with faint praise indeed. But let's look at our bikes, and look at a spindly old Bonneville. There's something beloved about the Bonnie's and you could rightly say that the Bonnie shape means as much to Triumph as Harley's ideas mean to to Harley. So,put a Bonnie and a Roadster side by side....do they look like kin? Of course they do. As for the touring, just put on a fatter tank, a cushy seat, and what not, and there you go. The Rockets are very good looking in my eye, and I see that part of that look is in where they come from.

The wonderful thing about 99% of motorcyclists is that they are a traditional lot. Anything that looks 'different' from the 'norm' is considered ugly right out of the gate. Every time. Buell was DIFFERENT, and the Hayabusa was DIFFERENT and the Rocket was DIFFERENT, along with most of the others they presented. The Rocket may be ugly or pretty to some, but is sure the hell is DIFFERENT. And to me, different is good. People notice this bike because it looks like nothing else. Harleys and Harley copies are dime a dozen. For me ugly is cool!

Yep, those who want the same ol' same ol' can go buy a cookie-cutter Harley bagger...

I had a first year Magna V65 and actually liked the looks of it. I loved the power, so much so that I bought a new Sabre V65 the next year to keep it company. I still have the Sabre and it's in mint condition with only 2820 original miles.

As much as I love Triumphs, it is embarrassing to say that the only bike I ever had that I considered ugly was the first year Trident with the tri-exhaust tips. Although it wasn't pretty, it was a great machine.

Triple pipes are not my fave, but if I had one of the bikes that ran them, I'd keep them shiny....just because it is so polarizing!
