BEARCLAW AND K/N FILTERS?

How do you fit the bearclaw to the bike with kn filters? 2nd does anybody make aftermarket or custom bearclaw to fit the bike better than the stock one?

I think there's a stickie showing how to move it out. I've seen some that people cut to allow the filter to be exposed. That's probably the route I'm going. The only aftermarket one I've seen is carbon fiber and it's the same shape as stock.

This bothered me at first, but I have done the mod and love the look of no bearclaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the faster black on black model so the black tops of the k&n oval filters accent the faster black engine! I think I would like to use some black leather like busajack did to hide the tank tabs.
