so I know that bike tires loose more air than cars, fronts especially, but my front tire looses about 10psi a night after having been mounted. Is this normal? I lost about 5 psi during a 300 mile ride, can't be normal. Take it in to get remounted? Normal for Avon Cobras?
Make a soapy mixture up ,air the tire up and spray around the stem ,beads and then the rest of the tire if necessary.L osing that much air it should be easy to find where the air is escaping from.

No not normal and probably will not get any better only worse as said soapy liquid run the pressure up a bit higher and look for bubbles(I do not mean WHU fans or the monkey that MJ used to blow)
Since your bike is an 05 you may find some corrosion in the bead area. If thats the case and it is too pitted to clean up you and always apply some bead sealer. Worked well on my old Venture with some minor corrosion on the rims bead area.
