Auxiliary fuel tank

Isn't there a vent opening that is already around the filler opening? At least mine has one. Maybe that's plugged. Never had a problem.

Don't know, I don't have the R3T anymore. Are you able to completely fill the tank without stopping and dribbling the last gallon or so in? If so, you got a good one.

I'll check. My buddy had a R3T and his took fuel fine. I got back my tank and front fairing from the painter yesterday. I will look over the vent and anything else that jumps at me. Thanks

YEP Ill just stop gas up, hit the head, get a bite to eat and stretch my legs thats more like it .

Problem is Art, the last place to do that is 50 miles behind you, your stuck on a one way road with no way to get there. Not all of America is like the roads you ride.

There is a vent but is very small. Maybe an 1/8 inch. When I had tank off to change filter I drilled it out to a 1/4 inch. Tanks fills fuller now without having to feath r it in.
