Has anyone done this up grade and if so how long have you had it on the bike and how reliable is this set up? Does it work all the time or just some times? I don't want to spend the time nor the money if it isn't a reliable setup.
Back in the 80's I installed a simular system on a 1983 Bronco. I think it lasted for about 6 mths. It was the type that I had installed a magnet on the drive shaft and a magnetic pickup above it. It was a POS. I have a throttle lock now that beats not having anything at all but it leaves a lot to be desired.
