Anyone run a 200 rear tire?

WHAT????
"Me an 2 others caused the recall on the R3T tires when we burnt through 10 rear tires in under 10 miles combined with 2 blow outs"
This just makes no sense to me?
The very first T3T's came with tires that was not in spec. 3 of my rear tires went back to triumph for testing turned into a recall and free sets of tires and compensation for down time.

Yeah, the original Excedras shredded from the torque, I believe. Kind of a fun fact to relate now in retrospect (mine came with Metzelers so never had the issue, but still... "oh yeah, the bike has so much torque it ripped the stock tires apart" is kind of cool.) As late as 2012 Bridgestone was still saying they had no appropriate tires for the Rocket.

As for 200's - what would be the upside of a 200? Just bragging rights?

I had Metzlers originally but they wore out Quickly. This makes my third Bridgestone and i havent had any problems. The last 2 have been 200/60s

I ended up trying an Excedra foe the back, I put a Battlax on the front, the front now seems to have a hum, did your Battlax do the same?

I havent noticed anything, but it does have quite a bit more tread grooves cut into it...

Run Battlax's on my Speed Triple and had'em on my 900 Thunderbird .. great tyres , wish they made them for the Rocket Standards.

I run and have ran many Dunlop D251. Is a 200/60R-16 with 79 load and V speed rating.
A great tire on my 2000 Vulcan. I would think this would be a good tire for the Touring.
