Anyone have a solution to keep the cables on these pathetic plastic clips on the front guard? Brand new bike and they still pop out.

Mine are like that. Most all others are like that. I would like to remove the clip piece and install a simple bumper pad.
 
I have a set of Flip’s, nice pieces, I never put them on though lol.

Switching to carbon from precluded it.
 
Before changing my front guard, I adjusted the brake line connection where it bolts onto the caliper. Turning it in more slightly held it in its holder better.
