Another question for the Gear heads ! :) RE: Ramair!I Was hoping someone could help me with this on

Bikes differ -

Even with a PCV adjusting mixtures, mine made/makes HORRID and irritating "chirping" noises with triple K&N's. Was less loud with the RamAir - Chirps changed from right side to left side when I fitted the heat wall and went away with Les's claw. With The Ramair predecessor made by ITG it sounds like a jack-hammer. The Oz-Claw and Ramair could have been made for each other - fit wise.
My secondary plates are out and I don't notice any noise. On my last Rocket with the plates in (opened 100%), there was more noise.

Once my CABLE arrives, I am going to attempt the TUNE ECU R3R_Slip.Hex Which seems the most applicable for my set up 2011 Rocket Roadster -- Triumph TORs Slip ons ( which deletes cats, since I believe they are in stock mufflers on my bike ) and Ramair intake set up. Not sure if I want to take a chance and play with any of the fuel values and mess anything up ! Like I mentioned dealer did the map just for TORS before I did Ramair. Hopefully I can handle this ! Tune ECU likes to scare you with all their disclaimers about ruining your engine etc..... If there was a "Tuner" in North Jersey USA I'd probably let them do it. I don't really want to spend big dollars dyno-ing the bike .

Mate send @HansO a pm and give him a run down on your setup , sure he will be happy to make sure you get the closest possible tune for your needs.

Thanks
He says "rattling noise". It could be pinging it's brains out........

Thats what I'm afraid of, that its engine ping not just intake sounds

There isn't any ordering involved for TuneECU. Go here and download the program onto a laptop if you have one. It makes it easier than taking your bike inside to the computer ;). Do a search and see what cable most have had luck with and order that one. After that it is as simple as reading through the TuneEcu section here and possibly watching a you tube or two to see the basics.

Agree the missus says I cannot take the bike to the computer. Laptop is a must.
