air filter

has anybody done a measurement on the airfilter yet?
I'm pretty sure K&N has a panel filter that fits, just need to know the size so before I take mine apart I raise the question here

I'd be weary fitting a K&N on a bike that already runs lean, but no doubt they and/or DNA will make a filter for the R3 at some point in time.

DNA makes a filter now. Installing this weekend if it comes in. Claim almost 30% increase in airflow.

Got the filter installed today. Don’t need to completely remove tank to do it. But there’s a special place in hell for whoever thought the airbox tray hinge mechanism mounting and unmounting was a good idea, or leaving out how to engage or disengage those hinges from in the manual was a good idea. I recorded the process and will have a video put together this week hopefully. Working on a diagram to help explain how to get that tray removed/installed.

Here’s the DNA filter in the tray, oem on the bench next to it. Won’t have a ride report till winter is over but ran the adaptation sequence after install and everything seems good.
