Thanks for your recent purchase with us and sorry to hear about the discomfort. Here is a breakdown of the shell sizes:

Please note, however that if your helmet is a size XL and you put in size L cheekpads then the helmet will fit tighter than it does currently.
Unfortunately, thinner cheek pads are not available for XL-sized Sportmodular helmets.

Indeed!
I wrote them back about my disappiontment in AGV versus Schuberth just to vent some.
Guess I shall come up with a way to mod the OEMs.
