2010 Rocket111 Classic
Any advise please, just giving my new purchase a 2010 reg R111 Classic, a deep clean. The extra accessories fuel gauge and electric clock mounting brackets chrome was stuffed.
To cut a story short, as I was replacing the chrome plastic cover back on the clock, I some how managed to short the clock as I slide the cover back on.
I’ve checked the bikes fuses and checked the wiring that goes in the back.
Anyone got an idea?

Sorry can't help, but feel your pain. The clock is a ***** to get back together after changing the internal bulb........
Strangely that post of mine, was just over a year old. Anyway I did get the clock working again, but can’t remember how!
But get this, as it wasn’t going to be used I disconnected the Battery and jacked the bike up off its suspension. Just gave it a pre-riding season check over, connected the battery back up. All the lights came on in the clocks….. except the chronometer don’t work again! The interior light is on, but the clock don’t clock! It doesn’t adjust on the buttons ether. So I’m hoping it’ll start working once I get ridding it again, road shock will set it going again!
