ABS - REAR BRAKE PEDAL LOCK-UP

If your brakes do lock up its probably a sensor on the wheel or a wire that when you hit a bump at a certain angle it locks your brake. not an expert but this makes some kind of sense. Other thing your master cylinder does not release pressure completely and it just builds up and eventually locks up. Maybe

Thank you!
I shall look into this.
I'm finding the ABS crap is expensive?!

If the brake is locking up i.e. pads don't release wheel doesn't turn it's the hydraulic system, if it's the pedal not moving sounds mechanical.

It may sound a bit out in left field but when was the last time you checked the thickness of the brake rotor? If you have 30,000 plus and have been using the high dollar brake pads the brake rotor may be out of tolerance. Not sure how the ABS would react to a worn out rotor but it might be worth checking out.
