Unplugged the battery for half an hour then went for a ride. ABS light was off until stopped and after starting ignition it stayed on for the whole duration of the way back. Strange

something wrong with abs
possible wire problem with working on the other probs.
like Joe said its just like riding the old style bikes with out abs.
u would need a scanner to retrieve codes best have an expert do that.

Lonelec dont seem to be interested. Called them - no answer. Apparenyly they are only internet business now. Sent them 3 emails - no reply.
So any other brands could you suggest ? There is plenty on ebay. Some say cables are the same for all rockets, some say different years need different cables. I dont know what to believe

I've been reading about yer problems, nae luck with yer bike at the moment. Good ye got the clutch switch an the fuel gauge issue sorted. As for as yer ABS light problems I think you should run the bike as it is until your dealer is open. I don't think that tune ecu deals with the abs system ,If i'm wrong someone will correct me.. The thing for that would be dealertool , costs £60 and diagnoses the ABS system and many other systems , You don't need the Lonelect cable for Dealertool, but you still need to down load some software and use it to read the fault codes that are shown. Hope this helps you decide what to do.

well guy we got to stop meeting this way lol
first thing i would do is read the codes ,Right them down and then clear them and see if they come back.
in the mean time post the codes and maybe we can help.
what size tires r u running?

i would closely look at the at the speed sensors /wires to see if they r bent. the most common probs wrong tire size and speed sensors or the rotor (bent) that triggers the signal.
would a different sized tire makes the light to come on?? I cannot see how

Dude, you're trying too hard to make this hard on yourself.

@EwoutR3 provided the links in posts #11 and #12 - get those, and come back to us.

Josmoe, do you know if tune ecu diagnoses the ABS system ? If it doesn't the lonelec cable is no use. Both my Rockets are Non ABS so I can't say for sure.

ok got it ,I see the android version of tune ecu does the ABS system.

It is possible that the abs relay could be bad and that would keep ur light on that was the problem I had with my victory
