Freaking typical. I ordered the cable. Then few hours later lonelec replied saying I need a Bluetooth fualt code reader.
Well will wait for the cable. We will see it it says anything then will consider the reader.

The cable at the link from @EwoutR3 is a direct connection to the Android device -- someone telling you you need a bluetooth anything is full of it.

Yes, one *may* purchase a bluetooth device, but isn't necessary.

I ordered the same cable with the same adapter cord, and mine works just fine - no bluetooth involved.

So cable is here , what's next guys?

Download the TunECU software on the device you'll be using to interface to the ECU.

Play around with it a bit - three main pages - you'll be using the test page mainly.

Going to the bike, best if you have a charger plugged in to keep the battery topped off.

Removing the left side cover should expose the DBII connector - you'll recognize it as the mate for the large end of your cable that just arrived.

Turn on the ignition - no need to start at this point.

Connect the cable at the DBII end, and the indicator light showing that it is receiving power should light.

Plug the other end into your Android device, and launch the app TunECU.

If all goes well, the app should recognize the cable, and soon, start communicating with the ECU.

There is a green circle on one of the pages indicating that communication has been established with the ECU.

When you get that far, come back for next steps.

TuneECU by Alain Fontaine? There are some mixed reviews about this app.
Will I be able to tune the bike a bit for short David Platt cans I have on the bike?

I wouldn't worry about the app. The experience base on this site is all the endorsement you need, and also means, more minds available to ponder your questions and challenges.

Thanks a lot will try
Btw do you ever sleep? It must be around 4 am where you are.

Since you've been very recently messing with the wires on the bars for your clutch switch, check the wiring for the front sensor and make sure it didn't get pinched somewhere. In the past a few good have had ABS lights dealing with the front sensor wiring getting pinched around the steering head/bar area.

Everything looks fine. And fuel gauge works.
