I think I mentioned awhile back that I added Union Jack 3d decals to the side covers. Well, here's a pic after I cleaned the girl up today. I think they look good on the bike.
Yes, I'm glad you guys came over, and thanks for breakfast! I forgot to ask, but what did you think of the pipes? I think they sound great, but that sort of the thing is subjective.
He had a rocket engine in his t-bird frame but when he floored it the torque buckled the frame so he had to put the t-bird engine back in, but only after he bought it back from me for I had it installed in my Rocket frame. so he is kind of on the correct site.
Thanks for the breakfast Dennis I hope you can make it next Saturday.
I know there's a little click of you here that live in each others "cyber-space" pockets.... thats fine . But there are also Rocket owners that aren't the least bit interested in other model bikes or what bit of store-bought bling the owners have added to them . There's a number of ALL TRIUMPH sites out there that have next to nothing about Rockets but heaps about all the other models . The past couple of weeks there seems to be more and more **** about thunderbirds. I thought this was a Rocket specific site????? I dont know about anyone else but i reckon the Thunderbird looks and rides just like another Jap-style cruiser ... It ain't nothing to get excited about in my opinion !!!!
Always nice to listen to the newbies dictating what EVERYONE should type or read.
Maybe we should have a different site for each colour of bike or ban the riders who have a car tyre on the rear.
Enjoy your bike it is going to be fun having you around
If anyone is going to spout off about anything not made in England by Triumph please put a warning on your post
This topic is posted uner the THUNDERBIRD FORUM you are reading what everyone can see when a reply is sent a kind of quick look to see what is going on, if I am wrong someone please correct me or explain it better to our Aussie friend.
That is correct Dave, if you don't want to read about the Thunderbird...don't read a Thunderbird post. I believe this post was to show a decal that was bought that can also be applied to a Rocket if one so desires.
Other than that...run along now there is nothing to see here.
And that is spelled "clique" not click...you must be from Australia or somewhere else downunder...Brisbane...yeah that's it?
There's a TBird forum on here, which is where I posted. I'll tell you the same thing I tell folks on the music forum where I'm a moderator. There are hundreds of threads here. GO post in one of those if you don't like this one.
