i could find nothing in the owner's manual about a small electrical pigtail that sticks out under the left front of the saddle. Trickle charger hookup? Plug in for electric heated suit?

On the saddle, what is this air intake plenum built into the seat? Jet stream cooling for the butt? Do Corbin seats duplicate this feature?

The Rocket is getting broken in a bit. Starting is easier and the idle is smoothing out and low rpm cruising as well. The stalling under no throttle on steep downhill using the tranny to stay off the brakes is gone.

It is enjoyable to not thrash the engine to get a bit of power. Tenative, I have decided to call her "Maggie May" of Rod Stewart fame. I just hope in the morning, she does not kick me in the head.

That pigtail could have been put there by the dealer to keep the battery charged up while on display. You might want to ask your dealer about it. We all take the "snorkel" off the bottom of the seat. No Corbin's don't come with that feature. You might want to ask your dealer about checking the tune too.

I can answer onequestion in regards to the air vents under the seat , its where air is pulled into the airfilter under seat.

Not aware of the snorkel under the seat. Do all Roadsters have them?

The snorkel is the dumbest intake system I've ever seen. 2300CCs... fed by two little nostrils on the back of the seat. Whoever thought that up is a silly goose.

That seat snorkel is where the air is sucked into the filter. Check before removing it that the air will still go through the filter rather than around it. Obviousle with triple filters or RamAir that will not be a problem. However, I suspect that the snorkel also acts as a part of the strength of the seat. If you are built like the Man from Snowy River then that should not be an issue. However, if you are built like an "average American". . .
