What people need to know is that there are no politics or religion talk at the RAAs, at least none that i have heard

Sorry you won't make it this time, my wife asks how TOW is doing since she was not feeling very good at MV.

Tow is doing better. Since I finished my chemo her hive problem seems to be lessening as the days go by. It seems to be brought on by stress. I'm sure as soon as I go back to whats left of my job, she'll be just fine

I must wholeheartedly Agree with you there seem to be a few that thrive on making someone else upset, to the point where in the last couple of weeks 2 people 1 fellow Aussie and 1 long time .net member have contacted me via e-mail to say they want to keep in touch but not thru here, this I think is very sad. I must admit at times I am ashamed of some of my Aussie co-members postings and at time felt like pulling the pin and leaving here but my Dutch stubbiness and the fact that I have made so many friends both here and overseas thru this forum is what has kept me here

It's not your responsibility to police all of OZ ! I just ignore people who like to push other peoples buttons. They are likely socially inept. This is probably as close to "human" contact many of them get.

Not about to police my fellow Aussies!! but it embarrasses me that I live in this generally friendly country and where most adult people are mature and balanced enough to know the difference between a bit of lighthearted fun and simply trying to humiliate others and all just so they can feel better about their own deficiencies.

Sorry to hear about your job dilemma. My last 10 years in St. Louis were similar. Buy out after buy out and vacation was always the first causality. I just turned 49 and age does play a role in job finding. Good jobs anyhow.

I'm glad I made my move out here to Wyoming 2 years ago. There is no recession out here.
