Has anyone ever considered converting a Rocket engine to run on diesel? I know it's kind of a random thought, but what do you guys think?

Cylinder liners are ALUMINUM. Head bolts are not strong enough. But it could be done.

it would have to be turbo diesel
and the only gear it wouldn't spin the wheel would be 5th
