For sure! Hence sitting a bit forward with feet back does help. However these trips for me are mostly not longer than an hour or so. Included my weapon of choice....

My CF 1290. with SD front wheel and brakes....and windshield of course. I cant fit on a SD. to tall and old

Ha, Ha, ok you got me by a few years. (67) But I'm still 6'5" and the SD is just to bendy for me.
