Just wondering if anyone else has had or currently experiences an intake backfire when the rev match to downshift there first gen? It it only 1 pop when I blip the throttle downshifting from usually 3rd gear and down the high gears it doesn't usually happen.

You’re probably chirping the rear tire, what a hooligan
I wish , it only pops 1 one time when it happens and sometimes it's loud other time not too loud but noticable, intake doesn't pop otherwise. I wonder if an actual dyno tune would fix it?

I take it the exhaust isn't stock......otherwise look for a leak in the intake boots, rubbers, hoses.....

Ramair intake with a Dave platt single 16 inch. I hooked my smoke machine up to it and there was no significant leaks I say significant because there wS only 1 spot on the middle intake port where the rubber sleeves that cover the rods that connect all the butterfly's together but I sealed it up with a dab of rtv and no longer leaks.
