All the advice so far has been worthwhile and would get you back on the road, but if it were mine I would replace the tps and use TuneECU to do a full ISCV reset. The software is free and the cable to hook the bike to your laptop costs about $20. It is however worth mentioning that a loose vaccuum hose will cause erratic idle problems too. I spent a whole day figiring this out once. Now I check all hoses as a matter of course anytime I lift the tank

I believe this is a universal problem with dealerships; Its like poke and hope that you find a good one" that is why if one owns a triumph r3 i believe it is essential to fix basic things yourself and have knowledge about tuneecu or have a very deep wallet lol! "Be Safe"
