All points well-taken, but incline/decline is obviously a factor as it has only happened a few times over 8500 miles and always on an incline or decline ramp. May be wiring but banking is not a coincidence i dont think.
 
fishbein it may have something to do with your self canceler for the signal lite
and my dont set long enough in the winter to put a charger on it

Without knowing a **** thing about electronics, I agree. Well, at least that's my suspicion, that or a loose wire. But I'm thinking the canceler because it works at all other times and 99% of the time. Either the wire disengages once in a blue moon because of the strange angle of the bike, or the canceler feature turns the signal off and prevents me from turning it back on during an incline turn on a ramp...who the hell knows. I suppose if that's the only place it occurs and it's only once in a blue moon, not so bad, but of course I'd like it to work all the time. If I can't figure it out, I'll have a pro look at it next time I take it to the shop. thanks for all your ideas, bros. Fish
