I replaced the powerBronze with the T-Rex 21'' screen and while the 21 is taller it's slimmer and the hardware puts it inches further forward. I'll probably stick with the powerbronze and play around with spacers to divert the wind.

im like a broken record, fork mounted wind deflectors, fork mounted wind deflectors, fork m....ha ha. they really made a big difference.

Ha ha, if you saw the pile of them I have on the shelf, you wouldn't ask. I think I spent all last summer making different shapes and sizes. I can tell you that they need to be at least 5" wide or they aren't effective. Height, shape, angle....so many factors effect buffeting. My handlebar mounted generic screen is AWSOME for riding with my 3/4 helmet and sunglasses, but generates modest buffeting with my AGV full face. If I lower the screen for cleaner airflow with the full face helmet, long rides with the open face are not fun.
I know most people do not like this look, but it works for me. Top of the screen is a bit below my nose.

This is my setup and design. I found it works quite well. A lot of trial an error getting the lowers to look just right as well as neet and tidy. Looking at the bike in real life you can hardly even notice them. Tweaking the windshield can give you a pretty fair pocket without making things ugly. The Powerbronze hand guards are shown in an added picture as well as how I mounted my handlebar bag to make it work. There us a lot of activity on my handlebars..a cell phone mount, Beeline Moto mount as well as a Gopro Mount. Maybe I'm getting a little carried away...then again only I have to look at it so who cares.

My experience with handlebar mounted screens in the past would have the screens getting pushed down onto the gas tank at speed. Did you find an exception or additional support?

I assume you're referring to mine? Yes, I made a small bracket that runs under the stock screen mount. The whole thing this is very sturdy. Have ridden fast and in high winds. Bike moves before the screen does.
