I have noticed that if I turn the knob all the way to the stop and hold monentarily, it changes from trip to trip to odo. I have to turn it only about half way to the stop, and hold monentarily, to reset either trip, I've had two Rockets and they were both this way. Hope this helps.

O is the odometer reading stored in the gauge in its own memory ,or is it stored in the computer?
Just curious ,because if I had to buy another how would you get the proper mileage displayed,if its possible?

Apart from that I would just like to say the chrome reset knob on the side of the gauge is a horrid little thing for big fingers wearing gloves to get a grip on.
