Wow, just installed my GI Pro

Almost everyone steps on their *****like I did and takes Truimph at their word with that stupid off road pipe tune, so instead of paying again for the right tune, especially after spending the big bucks for a PCIII, just yank em out like a bad tooth. Once they are out the difference in timing is miniscule and doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
But no, if the secondaries were closing before, the GiPro is not going to change it. Its sole purpose besides the gear indicator and speed limiter is to eliminate the preprogramed power reduction via timing in gears 1-3.
I wish I'd never listened to my dealer about that **** aftermarket exhaust tune, once I found out it just cheats and closes off the throttle bodies I wanted to scream. Money wasted, I could actually feel that the bike was slower after they loaded it. So OUT went the plates. Made a big difference, I'm very happy with the performance now.
Something must be right, it turned a 10.8 at the track in the quarter with a windshield and saddlebags.

I would just yank them and be done with it. The fueling is the same between the tunes they just close the secondaries more to restrict air flow.

I have my PC5 on order....

I'm excited to find out if it lives up to its potential, that would be the coolest thing yet to be able to tell the bike how much fuel you want to waste and have it dial in the best tune itself. You have to start a new thread even before you open the box. Inquiring minds want to know!
 
Thanks Pig9R! Now I have the stock tune because the bike is stock and I have done nothing to it. So after looking at the aforementioned numbers that you posted, I can say that my secondaries will be open. So Im good for now. unless I dump the wife off the back after install!!!!! Than Ill have to change solme settings

Will do. The distributor that my dealer gets the dynojet stuff from didn't have a stock number for it yet so they had to directly to dynojet to get it. Should be in next week.
 
You have it backwards .... the neutral light should be OFF when in neutral with the plug un plugged. Follow the wires to the sensor on the back of the engine, if there is a sensor at the end of it going into the rear of the engine down low, it's probably it. Down below where the shaft comes out.
It cannot have two male connectors ... one has to be female or they wouldn't fit together. I think you need to slowly re-read the instructions. You seem to be a little confused.

Whatever you do, don't get frustrated and start pulling hard on the wires, they will break loose from the pin. If this happens, finish removing the pin and solder the wire back onto the pin prior to inserting it into the GiPro connector.
 

Correct.

When you have removed the cover the plug you want is immediately visible, mine (08 R3 Standard) was mounted on a bracket that you could jiggle towards you making removal very easy, the hardest part is removing the pins but with a little patience and a small tipped flat screwdriver you should be right.

After you have fitted the black and black/violet to the gipro supplied plug and connected to the battery the display should indicate 'd', after the instal when you switch the ignition on the neutral light should be lit and the gipro display should read "0"

I was PM-ing him and he may have a misprint in his instructions. Step 4 and 7 for the test if you have the correct wires unplugged could be reversed. I sent the correct steps and when he gets back after it, I'll bet he knocks it out easy.
