Howdy all..

hey, Im curious on who has worked on thier own bikes and what type of work theyve done?

things from as easy as changing the oil to actually removing the engine and opening it up.

I have an out of warranty 05. Ive done some simple things such as changed my oil, changed out my ignition switch, changed out shocks, Ive removed the throttle bodies...

I finally bought a motorcycle jack, so I am hoping to add remove and replace front and rear wheels so I can save money on tire changes.

Im also considering clutch work, fork work, and whatever else I can possibly do w/o having my local triumph shop rape me.

I think a few have done clutch work, and fork work.. but what else??

If youve done clutch work, can you give me any tips etc?? I have the downloaded RIII manual, and it looks fairly doable...

Don't know much about changing fork springs yet.
The clutch is a breeze,

as for other components

such as pistons and liners are easy

and back together

hey guys.. thanks for your input, I am hoping to save this in my favorites as a resource to see who has done what.

WARP9.9:. thanks alot for the photos, it is really nice to see what things look like live and in color.. that photo of the clutch is highly appreciated to give me a better view of what i am getting into. Did you have to use the special clutch tool?

Im guessing a lot of this information that Im looking for is probably hiddend deep within this forum..

but using the search really sucks...

I hope to see more info, and more photos.. I will be taking photos myself as I start doing some more work on the bike
