will not start ughh

I tried roll starting it.boosting with a car battery nothing doesn't attempt to fire up just crank ughh I might be taking to triumph but don't want to with the custom tune is wayne from powertripp performance still on this forum ??? Maybe he can chime in

the basics either no fire or no gas. a shot of starting will tell you if you have a gas problem.
if some one in your area has tuneecu that could give you a lot of info.
poss crank sensor, fuel pump, bad fuel, no fuel an alarm failure?

Another thing to try, if you have a heat gun (or hair dryer) point it at the bottom of the bearclaw and warm up the air around there for a few seconds, then try starting it. I did that this morning and mine started like a beauty - at 18F! It has always been a cow to start on cold days, so I am going to keep trying that and see how it goes.

Don't turn it over for 30 seconds. Do it in shorter bursts of 5 to 10 seconds at MOST. Give the starter a few seconds in between to cool down. Try cycling the ignition off and on a couple of times. One other thing to try, and this is what you're not supposed to do, but it has worked for me at times on very cold mornings. While you are cranking the engine, give the throttle a twist.

Me thinks this be good advice, IDK!
I have had to do that a few times myself - have NO idea why. o_O
Also found it necessary even when jump starting. :sneaky:
So, I replaced the battery - no problemas so far. (fingers crossed) :cautious:

Well I got it started turned the ignition on and off 3 times after each time the gauges swept and it started but missed awful for about 2 minutes then cleared up anyone else had this scenario thanks

May have had a little contamination of the fuel or maybe to much fuel .I have had my bike run a bit rough from time to time but like you said a couple of minutes it sorted itself out

How good is the fuel you guys use over there when it is cold. Cant help but wonder if it is because maybe you use low grade fuel and it is just not up to it when the temp is low.Water in the fuel will sure make it run crap.
