Marty, as you probably know the run up from the coast to Cooma is brilliant. Actually the circuit from here through Batemans Bay down to Bermagui then up through Cooma and back to Canberra is a really good 500 km run for me and great way to spend a couple of days. - except for the Cooma-Canberra bit I suppose.

It's not what we think of the people of the ACT,:p it's the mentally impotent Politicians that give the place a bad name.;)

Guess what, they're you're Politicians, they just visit here because you keep sending the Bastards!!!!

I just spent a large part of the day in the gallery of the Senate, what a waste of good Oxygen!!, the place was chockers while the first part of the days prceedings was dealt with, then as soon as the important stuff csame up (Fairness for Firefighters amendment) they all buggered off and the Bill was voted on by 11 Senators!!!! There were more senate staff in the chamber than paid politicians. What a scam the whole outfit is.

Keep you elected Reps at home and Canberra would be a much nicer place. Get them to use the internet or conference calls and save the free airfares!!

The Kiwi.

I've heard of Rockingham. Nice bit of country.
Used to live at the top of the hill in Hale Rd Wembley Downs back in the 80s. Could see from the front door all the way to Scarbough Beach Hotel.
Used to pass thru your way going down to visit my sister in Narrogin.

It was a town out by itself back then but had filled in a lot when I was last there 8 years back. I'd reckon there'd not be much vacant land between the main city and Mandurah these days.

I,ve got 8 mates here in Qld .... and to be fair a couple in Sth Australia , 3 in NSW and another 3 up in Darwin that all ride Rockets.

No mates in Victoria???
Come on. Where not that badda bunch down here.

Gotta admit, I know more QLDers and NSWelshmen with Rockets than I do Vics too.

Seems the Sports bike was the prefered choice of entertainment down here.
Seems like the countryside down here is overun with Sprints and Speedies of various forms. The rest of em are on Bonnies.

I guess they just never found the real pot of gold in the showroom when they were looking for a new Trumpy.:rolleyes::cool:

I lived in St Kilda in 2003 , did a lot of poking around while i was there. Countryside is suited to a more sporty bike like you said. Have been down there on my R3 since, did GOR and the Mt Hotham ride.. was a hoot.

So which way you going when you hit Victoria. Almost in my back yard when you get that far.

Have to have a glass of "Gday" spirits, even if you do like that smelly stuff with the talking bear on it.
My choice has the noisey bird as an emblem.

Have mate in Wodonga so that's a definite, usually overnighter that requires the next night to get the breath back to legal before heading off. then it'll be down to Ballarat to sisters, then I'll see what time frame we have left.
